Karen Stapleton
I am
currently the Hearings Officer at the Virginia Correctional
Center for Women - a position I have held since 1994. I
have been employed with the Department of Corrections since
1985, and I began my career as a correctional officer. I
have also held the positions of Intake Specialist and
Grievance Coordinator.
I am the coordinator for CommonHealth at our facility,
coordinator for blood drives through Virginia Blood
Services, and editor of the VCCW newsletter.
I have been married to Lt. W. Stapleton for 22 years, and we
have raised three girls.
