VCA Joins Forces with VPPA for Fall Training Conference

                The Virginia Probation and Parole Association (VPPA) and the Virginia Correctional Association (VCA) will host their annual Training Conferences together this year in Virginia Beach.

            Planning and work is progressing on a joint conference which will feature programs and speakers of interest to members of both organizations.

            The site for this year’s conference will be the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This new facility, while currently under construction, will reserve 200 rooms at the state rate of $67.00 for singles or doubles. Their meeting rooms and banquet facilities will meet the needs of what promises to be a large turnout.

            Once again a golf tournament is being planned to as part of the conference activity.

            Dates for the Training Conference are October 19-21, 2005.
