The mission of the Virginia Correctional Association (VCA) is to provide information, education, and leadership for members and the community to promote an effective justice system.

VCA is focused on professional development and growth opportunities for its members. As a member, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with colleagues and to participate in the ongoing work of our association. You can even have some fun doing it!

The Virginia Correctional Association (VCA)
is a Dual Membership Chapter of the American Correctional Association (ACA), the premier national association representing the corrections profession.

The ACA is a large and diverse organization with various methods of association. The Dual Chapter framework and other affiliation methods are described in the attached document.
