JOHN SHODA

John Shoda, Correctional Institutional Rehabilitation Counselor, Bland Correctional Center, began his counseling career with DOC on 7-16-94.  During his employment John has attended many Department sponsored seminars and training opportunities. He excels in all areas of his work assignments & duties.

John is assigned as the Independent Living Program Counselor. He maintains
a high level  of professionalism & confidentiality in working with inmates
with special needs and has adapted to dealing with this population in a remarkable manner.

John is respected by co-workers and is a member of the DOC Hostage
Negotiations Team. He is loyal, dedicated & his job performance is above
reproach. He completes tasks in an expeditious & thorough manner. He is
honest, trustworthy and a team player.

John's work ethic, morals and professional standards are of the highest caliber.   He is a valued employee who demonstrates proficiency and efficiency in his work. John is considered a model employee.
